The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the reserve list for the UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination (CMS) 2022. Those who took the exam can access this list on the official website, upsc.gov.in. The reserve list includes the names of thirty candidates eligible for potential appointment based on the results of CMSE 2022. The release comes subsequent to the initial announcement of results on June 2, 2023, where 629 candidates were recommended for appointment. As per the latest notification, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has requested the Commission to recommend 30 candidates, comprising 27 from Other Backward Classes, 1 Scheduled Caste, and 2 Scheduled Tribe categories, to fill the remaining vacancies.
The UPSC CMSE 2022 reserve list provides roll number and name-wise details of the selected candidates. Interested individuals can follow the steps outlined below to download the list:

2. Navigate to the “What’s New” section and locate the notification titled ‘UPSC CMSE 2022 reserve list’
3. Click on the notification link
4. A list containing roll number-wise and name-wise results will appear on the screen
5. Verify and download the UPSC CMSE 2022 reserve list for future reference
It’s important to note that the appointment offers for 17 candidates are provisional, pending verification of their original documents by the Commission. These candidates will not receive appointment letters until the verification process is complete. The provisional status remains valid for six months from the reserve list declaration date. Failure to submit the required documents within this timeframe will result in cancellation of candidature, with no further correspondence entertained on the matter.
